My Big Greek Family

A fictional family tree sketched on a piece of paper and endless hours typing away resulted in ‘My Big Greek Family’. Connecting with readers and getting feedback are the most fulfilling aspects of creating a story; as a writer you create to share. You can find out more about the book and dip into some authentic Greek family recipes on my author website:

There were some memorable moments in researching and writing the book, which I was kindly invited to share on bookfanmary’s blog: http://bookfanmary.wordpress.com/2013/11/19/guest-post-and-a-giveaway-maria-constantine/

‘My Big Greek Family’ has taught me that writing a book is only part of the job of a writer. I have learnt to wear different hats as an author entrepreneur, and some have taken longer to sit properly. One piece of advice I hold onto is to be me, be real and be authentic, and if I make mistakes as I go along, then it is all part of the learning experience. When I typed ‘The End’ I now know it was only the beginning.

  1. This reads like a premonition of what my household could be like if nobody ever decides to get a job and move out!

  2. It’s always great when readers can relate to the story!

Hi Maria, thank you so much for liking my ‘Cyprus’ blog post – your blog is great! And I can’t wait to read your book – it seems we have very similar backgrounds and I even studied law too! Would love to connect more 🙂

  4. Hi, Ekaterina 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog. It’ll be great to connect more. Your book – Greek Expectations (great title!) is on my Kindle and I’m looking forward to the read.
